America's Stonehenge
We visited America's Stonehenge in Salem, New Hampshire back in August of 2001. For anyone who hasn't been there, it's a collection of stone walls, tunnels that all appear to be lined up with celestial events, much like Stonehenge in England. Theories abound on who made it and what it was for, but no one really knows. The prevailing theory at the moment is that early Europeans were in the New World long before evidence suggests and this was one of their ceremonial sites.
