We stayed in Treasure Island (who can be a $55 room rate that I got comp'd?) and this was the first time we stayed in the central area of The Strip. The hotel was okay (again, we can't really bitch at that price) and it was fun to be able to get to the casinos that seem so far when you're staying down at the southern end of The Strip (like Mandalay Bay or NY-NY). We also got to see the new Wynn Hotel/Casino open up and got a chance to walk through and explore it a bit. Our first reaction - an overpriced Bellagio, which is saying something. It looks pretty, but the casino was nothing special and when it comes to the shops and stores, most normal people couldn't even afford a pin.
