The two of us met each other at Lyndon State College in
Lyndonville, Vermont in the fall of 1996 through a common
female friend who turned out
to be a psychotic jealous backstabbing bitch. Jeff had known her during his
freshman year at college and he thought she was his friend as they entered his
sophomore year and met Moe together (he was in her orientation group - as she was
an orientation leader at the school, while Jeff was a Resident Assistant in the
dorms).
At one point through those first few months of the school year, she thought she was married to Jeff and thought that Moe was her
boyfriend - all at the same time and was upset at Jeff because Jeff was stealing
Moe from her and that the two us us were falling in love.
During the whole
incident she had actually called the Ricky Lake Show and they called back!
Our friend Anna (who was her roommate at the time) got the
call from the show and had to tell them that we weren't interested! She claimed that she was
just the roommate and didn't know anything!
We didn't start out dating at first, it was a curious time for both of us. Jeff had
already been out for about 2 years and Moe was just starting the process of
coming out. Initially completely platonic, our friendship grew over
those first few months we knew each other and then on March 15, 1997 we
officially began dating.
We both graduated from college at Lyndon. Jeff graduated in May of 1999
and Moe
graduated in May of 2002. The time difference explains a lot of the
reasons why it took the two of us so long to start living together.
After graduation, Jeff started to work in Maine and Moe
continued to go to school at Lyndon while spending his summers home in
Massachusetts. After two years of this setup, Jeff finally found a job in
Boston, moved in with Moe and is currently working in Boston and Moe works near
home.
During that time apart, we both were always traveling
to see one another. Even when we were in college, we were still living in
different areas. Jeff was in New York and Moe was in Massachusetts.
In two years of living in Maine on his own, Jeff put about 70,000 miles on his car in about
2 years - so you
can only imagine how many trips that is back and forth between Maine and
Massachusetts (and Vermont too!).
Finally though, now the two of us are living together. We
were sharing an apartment with our mutual friend Alicia (she also attended
Lyndon for sometime) in the metrowest area of Massachusetts, just outside and
southwest of Boston. That lasted for almost two years and since then
Alicia has moved out on her own, and the two of us finally have a place to
ourselves. For some interesting reading, check out the journals from 2002
and early 2003 when Alicia was still here and Jeff was at times, going crazy.
After all those years of living apart - it's like a whole new relationship that
the two of us finally get to live with one another - you know, coming home from
work and finding dinner on the table - deciding what decadence to partake in on
Friday night. The list goes on and on and we are both loving every possible
minute of it.
There are more picture galleries of the two of us beneath each of our Bios, in
addition to the pictures that are here on this page. Take a look, learn about
the two of us and enjoy yourself.

Jeff
Jeff was born in
April of 1977 so that makes him 27 at the moment and an Aries.
Originally
from New York around the Poughkeepsie area, he then went to college in
Vermont at Lyndon State College, lived in the Catskills of New York and
worked as a Forest Ranger for two summers, then lived in Greenville,
Maine,
then Augusta, Maine then in a "suburb" of Augusta, Winthrop all
while working with the state of Maine in land use planning and permitting and finally
now with
Moe in Massachusetts.
Jeff has
lots of interests, from hiking and camping to analyzing the structure of a
geomorphic province. He has spent most of his life growing up in the
outdoors. Jeff worked for many years on the
Appalachian Trail
in New York and also spent many years working on trails' policy in the
Catskill Mountains. Then working as a forest ranger he was able to get paid
for what he enjoyed the most, being outside and hiking everyday. He used to
work for the state of Maine, helping to
protect the natural resources and environment of the state's unorganized
territories and made sure that there wasn't a cabin every 6 feet around a
pond. Nowadays he works for Massachusetts once again helping make sure that
the state doesn't go to the dogs environmentally (though some may argue that
it's already there!).
While not a
party hound all the time, Jeff enjoys
getting out and going to the clubs, in addition to throwing huge parties
(he's been know to drink Moe under the table when he wants to) when the time
and place are right.
Especially not
when he's got to get up at 5:30 to go to work in Boston everyday.
Jeff was
the founding President of
Lyndon
State's Gay-Straight Alliance (photos) while
he was at LSC, organized the GSA to chalk the entire campus, and was
involved with student government where as a Senator he tried to ban the
Christian club on campus, among other legendary exploits

Moe
Moe was born in
July of 1977, so that makes him 27 at the moment and a Cancer. He is
originally from Franklin, outside the
Boston area and finished college in
Vermont at Lyndon State College and is now living with Jeff outside of
Boston.
When he's not
analyzing the amount of moisture that a parcel of air could contain, washing
and waxing his new car, or wondering how many small fries 10 pounds of fries
will produce, Moe enjoys many of the same activities as Jeff, such as hiking
and skiing. However, Moe
enjoys heading out to the clubs a little more often than Jeff does.
Fortunately, his job gives him a
schedule that gives him a chance
to stay up late and sleep in the next day, much to Jeff's chagrin when he
has to get up at 5:30 every morning.
With the two of
us living
in Massachusetts now, life tends to be a bit more fun and interesting then
it is was in northern Vermont or in Maine.
Gay entertainment just hadn't invaded the Northeast Kingdom or Central Maine
yet when we were there, but living
right outside of Boston does have its benefits and access to
plenty of fun places and sites. Moe is a semi-regular fixture at
Static in Boston - dancing away the night with friends (and Jeff
sometimes too if he decides he wants to be tired at work the next day, or
call in sick).
Moe is
also a former President of the
LSC
Gay-Straight Alliance and was active with
student government while he was at LSC. He ran the GSA through the
turbulent period in Vermont when Civil Unions were being put together.
Anyways,
Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun, the Connecticut casinos, are not all that far away
from where we live and it is a neat destination when we decide that we want
to waste some money.
Plus Cape Cod is just down the street and both
Jeff and Moe enjoy
spending a hot summer day down on the beach or visiting Provincetown for the
day.
