Things that I hate...
1) People who don't use their blinkers
2) Someone who gets really upset when their order at a fast food restaurants is messed up, please it's just an 89 cent burger folks!
3) Those people who take left turns from the right side of the road so that no traffic can go around them.
4) Stupid people (that's pretty all encompassing)
5) Music on a website with no off switch...
6) The lack of anything worth watching on TV on Saturdays and Sundays
7) Mosquitoes and Blackflies
8) Pretentious people (okay soccer Moms in their Lexus and BMW minivans on their cell phones)
9) Those little seals on CD's and DVD's - why are they there?
10) Getting cut off in traffic...
11) Having to go to meeting after meeting on the Cape...Has anyone driven in the traffic down there - even in the winter?
12) Yellow Jackets - I hate running around the woods after stepping on a nest and getting stung
13) People's expectations of what you are going to do - why can't they just be happy with what you decide to do for yourself?
14) Rubbernecking - the car has crashed, the people are hurt, the professionals are there taking care of the problem - keep driving and stop staring.
15) Vermont fall foliage - it's never quite that amazing.
16) People's reaction to an upcoming snowstorm - hello folks, it snows every winter and people survive - you can live for a day without your groceries.
17) Shoveling snow - the physical exercise benefits are far outweighed by the muscle aches afterwards
18) Fanatics from the religious right - Do you really think Christianity teaches that you should hate everyone who you feel is a "sinner" Go fuck yourselves instead of making our lives miserable.
19) Casinos - why don't you just burn your money outside the door before you go in? It would be easier...
20) Colds - they can perform brain surgery without even opening the skull nowadays, but they still can't cure the common cold?
21) Snow in April in Massachusetts - Yeah, I know it's New England - but fuck it, I lived in Maine and expected snow into May - but here in Boston - it sucks!
22) Morons on the subway who refuse to move to the middle of the train because they are afraid of not being able to get off at the right stop and who proceed to block up the doors, so everyone else can neither get on or off the train. Move the fuck in!
23) Annoying coworkers - enough said.
24) Republicans - isn't there anything better in the world to do other than try to pass amendments to the US Constitution to prevent gays from marrying? Like isn't there a country to run?
25) Night Meetings for you job - nothing, including OT, can make up for having to go to a meeting that starts at 7pm at night and doesn't end until at the earliest 10, especially when you are getting yelled at the entire time. Plus since management so eagerly reads union contracts, we have to make sure we're back in the office, bright and early at 7:45 the next day...ugh!
26) People who can't understand 4-way stops at intersections...is it really that confusing? Start from the right - and if you can't figure that out - whoever gets there first goes first.
27) Members of the public who even though the have no education or experience in the environmental world feel that suddenly, because they say something, cannot be wrong and must be taken seriously. Haven't you ever been asked if you would drink a glass of herbicide?
28) Annoying parents - you know them - they're ordering at Dunkin Donuts as you are attempting to get your morning coffee. They have little children running around and screaming and making no effort to stop them. They cannot decide what to order. They change their minds endless times. The entire line is held up because they feel they are the most important thing in the world at the moment.
