-
King's Ravine

the weather turned and it was getting a bit too late (we started at noon)

taken to exploring the Blackstone River
- A Quick Catskill Ski
(3-5-05) - With conditions like late January instead of March, Jeff enjoyed
some powder
- Douglas State
Forest (1-29-05) - With almost 2 1/2 feet from the Blizzard of 2005, Jeff
headed out to go skiing the next weekend.

Ponds, Beaverkill Valley (9-5-04) - Jeff and Moe headed out to the Western
Catskills to enjoy a walk through the Beaverkill Valley
- The Zion Narrows
(8-2-04) - Jeff had a chance to get inside Zion Canyon (literally) on a
daytrip with his father the last time he was in Vegas. Take a look at
what slot canyons are all about.

Mountain in the Catskills.
- Pecoy Notch
(7-6-03) - The two of us took a short hike up to Pecoy Notch in the Devil's
Path Range in the Catskills to check out a small beaver pond high up on the
mountain and to enjoy Dibble's Quarry.

maintenance trip with his brother and father around Nuclear Lake - to check

in the country, including New York and New Hampshire.
- Camden Hills State
Park (6/01) - Jeff used to do a lot of exploring
in Camden Hills State Park, about a 1/2 an hour from him when he lived in
Winthrop, Maine. The park was right on the ocean and featured plenty of
small mountains, lakes and coastal views.
- Canoeing the
Androscoggin River (6/30/01) - What to do on a Sunday afternoon or after
work? Back when Jeff was still working in Maine, he got to go on
paddling trips with friends from work on the Androscoggin and the Kennebec,
both of which were great for leisurely paddles in the afternoon.
- Mount
Mansfield (Spring 1997) - Jeff along with some college friends tackle
Mount Mansfield, Vermont's highest peak. They didn't quite make the
summit, but that didn't mean it wasn't a great hike.
- Baxter
State Park (10/96) - While in College Jeff, Brian and Clayton decided to
head to Baxter State Park to climb Katahdin. The weather didn't
cooperate for the Knife Edge, so they ended up on the Brothers Range in some
pretty nasty weather.
Just being out and about in the outdoors
