02/28/2005: "sniffle..."

I told Moe while we were driving up to NH on Friday that I was going to get sick because he was sick and I was in the car with him. Well – I’m not sure if that’s where I caught it – but either way – I’ve got whatever he had. The runny nose, the sneezing and the sniffling – I’ve got it all. I can’t count how many times I’ve sneezed and blown my nose this morning – it’s starting to get a bit overwhelming.

The weekend was a lot more low-key than we had planned. Moe was still sick on Saturday and by Sunday I was coming down with whatever he had – we were both in no position to go out skiing. At least on Saturday I got out and did a bit of cross-country skiing around.

With the impending ‘blizzard’ tonight – I’m hoping for a snow-day so I can sleep and hopefully get over this thing – Moe was sick for about 3 days and I’m heading into a day and a half at this point – so if I can sleep tomorrow – I should be on my way back up on Wednesday.
