I'm liking this out of the office thing - though I have decided that I should make an appearance tomorrow because while I don't envy the thought of going into Boston in the morning and then driving out to the middle of the state - it's not that bad and I can get some stuff done while I'm in the office that I'd otherwise have to put off until next week.

Can't you see how dedicated I am?

On the flipside - I'll get more OT out of it since I'll be in the office regular time and there's no way I'm going to be going to an afternoon meeting way out there and be finished by 4. OT helps the dedication along.

I'm waiting to head to the eye doctor this afternoon to have my final fitting for my contacts. Don't ask me, I didn't have to be "fitted" last time I got them several years ago - but this doctor is very thorough and it doesn't cost extra - so I don't mind going in and trying out several different kinds of contacts until we find the ones that feel and work the best. Maybe my old eye doctor just sucked.

In the meantime, I got up a new review of this outdoorsman's favorite wintertime hat (and I just got a new one on clearance at EMS last weekend) and I got a few things done around the house while I was killing time until the eye doctor visit.
