I'm not quite sure how I feel being a cartoon lesbian...does it say something about my character? An okay weekend in NY - though I did come home with 4 new jackets (only three if you don't count the jogging jacket). Well you see, EMS was still having their clearance so I got a shell and a new fleece jacket and then Dick's was having a jacket sale too - so my Mom got me a carhart jacket and I got the jogging jacket to go along with my new jogging outfit (yes, I went specifically shopping for jogging shoes, shirt, shorts and jacket so I could look utterly gay when Moe and I start jogging). Also checked out some furniture I think I'll end up with at my Grandfather's former house - really the only thing I want is a quasi-buffet table that I can paint and put in the dining room. Everything else I wasn't sure about. The drive back wasn't bad at all - I left a bit early to beat the storm tonight. Moe's over at Justine's watching Charmed (ick) but he'll be back and it gave me a chance to unpack. My Mom got me one of those microwave/toaster oven combos - I'm excited to see how it works. Tomorrow's a holiday for me! woo hoo! It'll give me a chance to get my Dell DJ up and running (yeah, I got Moe one for Valentine's Day - and liked it so much I gave up on the iPod and got myself one too) and I'm sure I'll be out plowing snow. |
