02/16/2005: "you want to sit on that?"

It’s slightly disturbing to think that some men on the floor of my office building have yet to understand that the first bathroom stall that you come to as you walk in to the bathroom is the unofficial stall where everyone who doesn’t want to use a urinal pisses and is thus probably more disgusting than the average toilet in a bathroom stall. I mean everyone that doesn’t use a urinal, always ducks into the first stall and 9 times out of 10, the seat is up because everyone is using it to piss.

Yet there is a somewhat significant proportion of people who seem to think that it’s okay for them to do #2 in that stall since I walk in and the seat is back down. I wonder about those people and I hope I never have to shake their hand.

I think that Annoying Coworker thinks I like her again. She is all smiles and she’s been asking me 101 annoying questions about stuff she is looking at that has an environmental part. God help me. Part of it I think has to do with the fact that our boss is on vacation this week and while nothing was ever said – I’m the next obvious head of the department and thus now she thinks she must show me that she is trying to get work done.

I really don’t care – but it’s interesting to watch. The 101 annoying questions could stop though, they really are just annoying.

I’m not sure if Moe and I have settled on a Disney vacation for the springtime – but it seems that we have. It was our first choice, but when we started to see prices to stay in the park – we sort of backed away and decided to just skip a spring vacation. Then for some reason it came back up and we’ve been actively looking now. I think tonight we’re going to stop in at a travel agent to see if we can get a better deal than we found online. So hopefully a vacation isn’t too far off into the future.
