02/11/2005: "um...okay..."

Well - my weekend plans have changed - my Mother and Brother will be coming up tonight.

That's cool because I haven't seen either of them in a while - I just would have liked more than a day's notice (I got the final word last night). I stayed home on a personal day today in part to clean for their impending arrival - the other reason - I just needed to sleep. I've been exhausted for weeks and if I didn't sleep in today - this weekend is out the window with sleeping in now that they're coming up.

I just don't get it - I try to sleep as much as I can - yet I seem to be building up a sleep deficit that I can't get over.

Back to cleaning - and then I've got to run to the grocery store to get some stuff in the house - Moe and I have been running everything fairly bare bones lately and I'm sure the first thing they'll ask for is soda, which there is none of in the house.

Of course, I cannot wait for the shopping extravaganza that will surely result from my Mom being here - she loves all the shopping we have around here.
