02/09/2005: "AC did it"

I made it out for the Patriots’ parade yesterday. It really wasn’t as good in years past (well, consider that’s coming from a gay man with little to no interest in football). There seemed to be fewer players in the duckboats and the ‘roving rally’ idea really just meant the sped on by while the PA system was going. The only real highlight? Tom Brady’s duckboat stopped for a bit just in front of us so I could smile at him.

On the plus side, it wasn’t freezing this year – I almost didn’t need to have a coat.

The commute home wasn’t all that bad – I guess all the tourists had managed to get out of Boston before I had to come home.

Another snowstorm for the area tomorrow – and if I wake up to several inches of snow, I don’t think I’m going to bother with coming in tomorrow. I can handle making it in for a small storm – or even the day after a big storm – but I’m not going to try to come in during a really big storm.

Annoying Coworker has fulfilled my dreams – she just farted in front of the new girl who had to leave the office so she wouldn’t start laughing in her face. Now everything I have told the new girl about her has come true. AC never lets you down in that regard.

It's more that it confirms everything I've been telling the new girl. No longer am I just dealing in gossip and horror stories.
