02/07/2005: "how bad could the T be tomorrow?"
I’ve got shots up from my ski trip last weekend.
It was a fairly low-key weekend. I tried some more skiing Saturday morning but the snow just wasn’t that good and then when I was out getting a prescription refilled, I figured I’d try to get a haircut – thinking it would be busy on a Saturday and I'd never get in. Nope, I actually had good luck – the place was almost empty and they took me right away. Then it was out with some friends before and evening at Jess and Martin’s place.
Yesterday we had plans to go and visit a travel agent to see if they could find better prices to Disney World than we have found – but after going to several malls and shopping all day with Brian and Garrett – we actually had forgotten about the travel agent until last night while we were watching the super bowl.
I can only imagine that the T tomorrow will be filled with idiotic non-commuter types who will be loud, who won’t move into the train and will just in general, make my commute one of those “commutes from hell.” I’m half considering taking the day off – but I’d rather save the time and just deal with the commute.

UGH - I forgot about the Patriot's celebration tomorrow. I'm getting tired of these things. Once a century is enough....3 in the past year (2 Patriots, 1 Red Sox...and let's not forget the DNC) is more than enough.
At least as a Boston resident, I didn't hear a single car horn or scream last night. It was just as peaceful as any other Sunday evening. YAY
