02/03/2005: "winter doldrums"

Everyone’s favorite transvestite was back for another cup of coffee this morning. At least today she was slightly better dressed for the weather and thankfully there was no view of the thong.

Can I just say there’s a shitload of snow on the Cape! I was out to the Truro/P-town area yesterday and the entire cape literally has a ton of snow. I’d guess there’s at least 3 feet in places and you could tell they plowed a lot of the roads using front-end loaders instead of snowplows because there was so much snow. I wish I had brought my skis – I would have taken a trip after my meeting – it’s not too often you have that much snow down there.

Even with all that – I still couldn’t get into a good mood yesterday. I’ve been trying so hard to stay positive and be happy, but it’s just not working, especially when it comes to money. I know paying off a lot of debt doesn’t happen overnight – but as each month goes by, I don’t seem to be getting anywhere. I pay something off one month and then the next month something happens so I have to re-use what I just paid off. It seems like a vicious cycle. I just wish someone would dump a bag of money out of the sky into my backyard so I could pay everything off and start from scratch.

Like that would happen!

I need to come up with a money making idea besides working – that would help. However, nothing ever seems to work beyond a few pennies. Epinions makes me a few bucks a month – enough to get something every once and a while or pay for a trip, but otherwise I’m in need of a plan to become debt free. Annoying Coworker asked me to attend one of her meetings this morning and I ended up running the meeting – she just would occasionally mumble incoherently at times. I just delight in making her look bad.
