01/26/2005: "more snow"

Annoying Coworker called out “sick” today. I don’t even have the balls for that one – calling out sick during a snow-storm. I’d just call and say I’m not coming in and use vacation or personal time for god’s sake instead of having everyone smirk when they said “oh she’s out sick today…” Of course, it makes me laugh my ass off, so it’s okay.

Another snowstorm today – it’s starting to feel a bit like Vermont or Maine when I lived there – but I love it. Snow might be a pain in the ass – but it’s the best part of winter for me. I could do without the cold and the grey – but when it snows or we just have a good snowpack, I love it.

I know all the snow has raised my spirits – I’m once again back to being in a significantly better mood. Plus I’ve had a chance to sit back and think about things, which has made me feel better about everything too.

I’m definitely going backcountry skiing Saturday – where I haven’t figured out – but I’m putting the skis in the rack and I’m going to find someplace. Sunday, Moe and I might end up going to a downhill place – he hasn’t given me a yes or a no yet.
