01/12/2005: "the beard"

So the squirrels in Boston Common are really starting to scare me. I swear, they are daring me to walk by and threatening to run up my leg or something when I look away. There are several that run up to me and sit there like 3 or 4 feet away and just stare and look like they are about to pounce.

Now I realize that a 5 pound squirrel isn't going to kill me, but they do have big teeth and I picture something out of Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail if it does attack me...

So you wanted to see the beard...

Roughly 3 1/2 weeks worth - it's beyond the scruffy strange and in an improvement over my beard days in college, there aren't any places where it doesn't seem to be filling in.

So let me know what you think...the more it grows in, the more I like it at the moment.

of course, I realize I could have at least smiled in the 1st shot - I must have been half-asleep when I put it up last night.

VERY nice--youthful and handsome. And Greg's "Woof!" covers it nicely.
