01/06/2005: "annoy this"
A 2 hour and 15 minute commute this morning – not bad for a snowy day. The roads had some snow on them, but it really wasn’t all that bad – it was the morons going 15 miles an hour on a wet road that were the problem.
Then of course the T was in typical ‘oh my god, it’s snowing’ mode – which meant that there didn’t seem to be half the trains that run normally – every train was packed to the hilt with people, and everything just ran about 65% slower than it normally does.
Annoying Coworker was late and came running in. Now I was late too – but hello it’s a snowstorm – you take your time and no one is going to be like “you’re late,” but she’s running in and like “oh my god, the roads were so bad and the train was so slow.” No shit you stupid idiot – go fart in a corner (I heard one the other day).
There’s a new girl in the office and Annoying Coworker has been trying to move in and make a friend. I’m not sure how well it’s going because the new girl seems pretty wide-eyed and naïve when it comes to Boston in general – so she’s just taking it all in. She already got the “I’m a student pilot and I fly around” speech – and I could see she was trying to get away from Annoying Coworker – so there is hope that AC still won’t have any friends in the office.
She’ll just have to continue to eat her bbq chicken wings alone – and no one will be able to tell her there’s bbq sauce all over her face.

I think you should copyright Annoying Coworker and sell her to some really good sitcom writer. This woman's a goldmine for a good comic actress with the right material.
