12/20/2004: "expedition shopping"

Another fizzled out snow-storm. When I went to bed last night around midnight it had just changed from rain into snow and this morning there was maybe at the most about 2 inches on the ground. Here in Boston there wasn’t even that much – it didn’t seem to start snowing until I got in this morning (late thanks to all the moronic drivers who think wet roads are slippery).

The snow is still coming down – but I doubt it’s going to amount to anything.

This weekend was a shopping expedition. Saturday we were in Natick for a better part of the afternoon, evening and night and yesterday we were in Natick in the morning and then Moe headed south with Justine and I headed west to Worcester with Brian and Garrett so Moe and I could finally shop for one another without having the other one there.

We met back up and all headed down to the outlets in Wrentham only to discover they closed at 7 on the Sunday before Christmas! Hello folks – if you stayed open – people would shop. We hit the mall in Attleboro instead.

Even though I felt like buying something for myself at almost every store I was in, I only bought 2 things for myself and both were at EMS. They were having a sale on sweaters and I broke down and got two of them.
