12/14/2004: "snoring on the T"

It’s been a while since my last late night meeting and I remember why I disliked them so much – getting home at midnight or later and then going to work the next day.

Then to hit me when I’m down – the reason I come in is to have some meetings with my boss and he’s out sick so I’m left to ingest huge amounts of coffee in a feeble attempt to stay awake.

This morning on the T I woke myself up when I started snoring – I’m sure not only did I sound like a fool snoring, I must have looked like one too when I realized I was snoring and I jumped up and tried to look awake.

It’s supposed to be 10 tonight – I’ve got to get that cellophane crap on the windows since some of them don’t seem to seal very well. Though I’ve got to borrow a hair dryer from someone to smooth the stuff out once I get it up – who would have thought - 2 gay guys without a hair dryer.

My damn check engine light came back on last night – a month after I had brought the car in because it came on back then. Go figure – what did they do – time it so it’d go off again?

Never mind that – I’m going to enjoy dinner tonight with Sharon and Moe – and I’m sure we’ll be hitting the malls once again in our seemingly endless quest for Christmas presents.

I don't have a blow dryer, either. But I'm considering getting that stuff for the windows. My new place was a wee bit chilly last night (then again, I didn't turn the heat on).
