06/11/2004: "do you want me to cancel that order?"

I've spent a better part of the afternoon engrossed in 2010. While it's not quite as good as 2001, it still captivates me everytime I see it and it has been a very long time since I saw the entire movie. Thank goodness for HBO on-demand service. I spent a lot of the time answering Moe's questions about why things were happening - like what's the monolith, who's the guy sending a message and all - but it was good nonetheless.

Now I have to get some shit done around here - I've got the day off - I've got to end up with something to show for it.
