So I'm glad to see that the foreign press (well at least the BBC) is now reporting on the block of granite with the 10 commandments in it as America's "Holy Rock" and we can read such wonderful news as: "Moore met with the commission on Friday as about 100 of his supporters at the federal courthouse ripped and burned a copy of U.S. District Judge Myron Thompson's order for the monument's removal. He said he told the commission he upheld his oath of office by acknowledging God. He has said Thompson had no authority to tell the state's chief justice to remove the monument." You have to wonder when the chief justice of a state supreme court decides that the federal courts and pretty much all of case law is wrong, what is starting to go on with this country. I personally like the people outside praying and wailing to protect "god" from the unbelievers. I guess the more things change in society the more that the stay the same sometimes. Perhaps if the press were focused on something else, like the fisasco in Iraq, the country would be better off.
